In this section, the two romantic leads finally have a conversation! And Kiyora will meet a new supernatural creature (while remaining surprisingly not-surprised that he appears out of nowhere).

カラス天狗:何やってんの?とか聞いきゃあ会話がつながってあいつはまだここにいただろーに
Crow Spirit: If you said something like “What are you up to?”
he’d still be here talking with you, right?
きよら：そーかなー
Kiyora: Yes, maybe

Kiyora: But it’s no good!
恩賀くんわたしの王子さまだもん
Onga-kun is like my prince!
カラス天狗：は？
Crow spirit: Wha?
きよら：幼稚園のおゆーぎでね
In kindergarten we did a play.
恩賀くんはシンデレラの王子さまで
Onga-kun was Cinderella’s prince
わたしは"グラスの靴"
And I was the “glass slipper.”
カラス天狗：人間どころか、もはや、生き物ですらない役。。。
Crow spirit: A part that’s not a human, no, not even an
animate object…
きよら：でね、でね
Kiyora: And then, and then,

きよら：王子さまは階段でグラス靴を拾うシーンでは
Kiyora: During the scene where the prince finds the glass
slipper on the staircase
わたしが王子さまのうしろをついていくはずだったのでもね
I was supposed to follow along after the prince, you see.
きよら：恩賀くん手をつないでくれたのよ
Kiyora: Onga-kun held my hand!
Notes: The phrase おまたせしました is common in restaurants. It doesn't mean the customer had to wait especially long for their food.
